About Beth > [consultant Beth Pridday has varied and diverse experience in economic development, marketing, advertising, public relations, fundraising and special events for human service, agriculture, retail, health, animal and sports organizations. She has organized and facilitated varied groups of people to work on small and large scale projects. Her background has included working in economic development, marketing and public relations, special events, advertising, community relations and media buying. Additionally she was a part-time instructor for MN State Community & Technical College (Detroit Lakes, MN) and Minot State University (Minot, ND) in the communication arts and entrepreneurship. She won 5 Addys for her creative work on advertising campaign s and was named Marketing Director of the Year (1999) for a national ag lending organization. Additionally she was named Woman of the Year (ABWA 1997); Kiwanian of the Year (2006); Distinguished Kiwanian of the Year (2006-07); 2006 Director's Award for outstanding service to the community from the Lakes Crisis & Resource Center and received the DL Regional Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award (2010) for outstanding service to the Chamber and the community. She is committed to volunteerism and currently is a board member for STEP (Stimulating Economic Prosperity) and BEST (Business & Entrepreneurial Support Team), a Member of the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce Promotions & Events Committee, President of the Detroit Lakes Kiwanis Club and a Volunteer with the National K-9 Trials Planning Committee, Humane Society of the Lakes, Basset Buddies Rescue & the Lakes Crisis & Resource Center Capital Campaign Major Gifts Committee. She's also a proud dog mom of two bassets - Buster & Boomer and loves golf, volunteerism and is committed to helping grow entrepreneurism and economic development in rural MN]
